Travelling "on the backroads going south" Catherine was bowled over by the range of natural ochre pigment in the quarries at Roussillon in Provence, France. In this series she has tried to capture the range and depth of the colour and combine that with the shapes and textures of the buildings against the contrast of the summer sky.
